For those that don't know Game of Thrones is the ever-popular HBO series that takes its inspiration from the books released by George R.R. Martin. HBO have teamed up with Diageo to create a series of Whiskies dedicated to the houses of Westeros and have done so by pairing them with different Scottish Whisky producers, with each one having a different producer that best represents the house.
House Baratheon has many ties to Royalty with Game of Thrones so it seems rather fitting that a distillery name Royal Lochnagar who also has ties to royalty (said to be Queen Victoria's and Prince Albert's favourite) to have been given the opportunity to represent the House Baratheon.
Further to this the Lochnagar Distillery is situated near Cairngorms National Park which has lots of Deer roaming around, fitting considering the Baratheon Sigil is a Stag rearing on it's back legs which is presented on the front of the bottles.
This Whisky is again fit for royalty, with lots of Smokey Gingerbread Spiciness running throughout which develops into a Brown Sugar Sweetness to finish off!
