In 1740 Admiral Edward Vernon enforced a reduction on the strength of navy rum. When his men complained he suggested the introduction of limes and sugar to make the drink more enjoyable, Old J brings this concept into the 21st century by using only the finest limes, vanilla and sugar to make Admiral's Old J Spiced Rum.
