Compañero is the Spanish word for companions and it is actually the perfect brand name for the range of rums under this umbrella, where each of these products focus on taste, complexity and finish.
All 3 highlight some unique flavours and help to confirm that rum really is a true spirit of friends. The Elixir Orange is a Jamaican rum that has added spices and flavourings to turn it into this delicious liqueur.
With sumptuous notes of delicious ripened orange, alongside some coconut, it reminds us of holiday’s by the beach with notes of sun tan lotion almost. Very easy sipping and perfect for your sweet tooth! The Gran Reserva is a blend of rums from Jamaica and Trinidad with nothing else added. Just two delicious rums from different distilleries blended together. Jamaican notes of pineapple and other tropical fruits are the first to hit the tongue, with a burst of intense flavour which lead to a beautifully long lasting, soft finish which is a unique sensation just begging for another taste.
Companero Extra Anejo is a 12 year old Panamanian rum that has been finished in a cask that has had a cacao treatment. Essentially, dark chocolate rum! Notes of oak and citrus are present, but this is definitely cacao.
Full bodied chocolate which then transitions into a creaminess at the back. There are some lingering notes of citrus but this is a one of a kind, must try experience!

Does my order include a VAT charge when leaving the UK?
No. We remove the VAT pricing for all orders outside of the UK. This will either already be done for you if you are not accessing the site from the UK. If you are accessing this from the UK, the VAT will be deducted when selecting the delivery country outside of the UK.
However, there may be charges from your local customs office, they will contact you when the order arrives in the country with the amount, however we do advise checking with them before ordering to get an accurate price. We are unable to assist in this as we do not know what the charges will be.
