Around 1995 the young man who was to become Cariel’s Master Blender, Peter Carlson set himself an audacious challenge – to produce the most delicious flavoured vodka in the world.
After much contemplation he decided that he’d use a flavour never before used in vodka – and in fact the world’s most expensive (and, paradoxically, ubiquitous) spice – vanilla.
