For this release the Pappy Van Winkle team uses their exclusive Family Wheated Recipe. It is aged for a minimum of 15 years where it remains completely untouched until it is ready to be bottle at a Barrel Proof Strength of 53.5%.

This Barrel Strength along with its Smoothness and Oak Flavour all blend together to create a Bourbon that is absolutely delightful.

Within this Whisky you will come to expect a Rich and Sweet start which is shortly followed by intense notes of Caramel, Toffee and Brown Spiciness, this then develops into a Long and Complex finish with undertones of Oak throughout.
