The Gabriel Boudier heritage has been around for over 140 years with a long standing reputation and a well known reputation. Fontbonne house was first founded in 1874 but was taken over by Gabriel Boudier in 1909 and was renamed Maison Gabriel Boudier. It remained with him until his death in 1918 and then was sold by his widow in 1936 to Marcel Battault.
Marcel Battault retained the original name of the Maison Gabriel Boudier and this has stuck with the company for years. He passed this on to numerous generations who have proceeded him and still follow the motto which was first instilled within the company: 'Quality is a principal that accept no compromise.'
