In 1989 Alexander Gabriel discovered Maison Ferrand which is one of the oldest Cognac producers in the world. Once he discovered this he never looked back. The sales were lagging but its reputation was not, and so Alexander set out to get this back to the way it was.

Whilst trying to achieve this goal, Alexander also worked towards creating the best quality Rums and from this he created the Plantation brand. Plantation uses only the finest selected Rums from Barbados and creates wonderful infusions to suit every Rum drinker.
