Glenfiddich Experimental Series Fire and Cane Whisky 70cl
As many of you re aware, Glenfiddich have grace us with a beautiful selection of Whiskies and decided to extend this by opening up to an Experimental series to which if you hadn't guessed they create new and exciting statements which are abit unusual.
This new addition is just another great release from them which was first launched in mid 2018. This expression was made by the Master Distillers Brian Kinsman who takes some of the Glenfiddich's highly peated Whisky and finishes it off in Specially selected South American Rum casks for a minimum of three months.
The result is a Spicy 'Fire' forward body with an increasing intensity which is infused with hints of Oak and Toffee which is mellowed out by a Juicy Sweet Apple finish but still remains the Smokey undertone.
