Brought to us from the Adnams team, this release like to push the boundaries and is a Rye Malt Whisky which comes from England, as opposed to the normal American or Canadian styles.
The Grain used for this is produced in Jonathan Adnams farm in Reydon which is local to their distillery.
Made with a mashbill of 75% Rye and 25% Barley and is aged for a minimum of 5 years inside French Oak Barrels.
From this you can expect a Dry Rye beginning with plenty more Rye notes throughout, followed by hints of Sweet Honey Raisins and a Roasted Coffee to finish off.
