This Liqueur is a classic French tipple which is produced by taking the Gentiane Root, a plant which grows in the high altitude region of Auvergne in France.
To produce this Liqueur they steep the Gentiane in neutral alcohol for several months before distilling this with a combination of several different herbs and the mature this in Oak Casks.
The resulting flavours are a Bittersweet Liqueur which has notes of Citrus, Mint and Anise. This liqueur is great served on its own over Ice or a perfect addition to cocktails!
