These are known as the Sanguinello Oranges which are picked when they are ripest which is between Winter and Spring. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLocally these are known as Arancia Rossa for the deep colour which the flesh has, and is considered one of the Jewels of the Mediterranean with the deeper colours having a bolder flavour profile.
