In 1946 Diego Zamora along with his brother and sister Angel and Joesfina, and Josefina's husband Emilio Restoy gathered all the resources they could and started to produce the ancient recipe of Licor 43.
Within a matter of years the Licor 43 brand had established themselves as one of the most popular brands within Spain. This soon began to spread worldwide and within a few years had established itself across the world as one of the best in the industry.
